Subject: Wowzers
I have only listened to episode 1 so far. Absolutely absorbing. A U.S. Marine Division on the run, Chinese surrounding them and cutting them off from the sea and a desperate attempt in the U.N. to broker a peace deal.

This program is an example of the damage TV did to radio and the continuing damage TV imposes on news broadcasting. Our ears communicate with the mind and our eyes have a nasty habit of wandering about and daydreaming, rather than listening to what is being said.
Hear It Now gives you an immediate sense of 1950 and the thinking the US put into understanding that war. It is unfortunate that we have only 8 episodes of the program available.
